About The Fruit Master
Introduction.
The Fruit Master started in 2011 and was registered with the Registrar General Department on 8th Day, February, 2012 as Enterprise and later Limited liability. The core business is distribution of fresh produce from both Local producers (out growers), export and import.
Since 2013/2022 The Fruit Master acquired one van for pick-ups from the farms and distribution. Packhouse, cold facility to keep the cold chain, The fruit master 2 branded sell points and one Banana ripening room. Both Greenhouse of 5480sqm and open fields for the production of vegetables and fruits
Business Mission
The long-term objective of the business is to become the leading fresh fruit and vegetable supply distributor for both export and wholesale outlets in Ghana.

Farming, import & export of agro foods and general trading
Business Vision
The Fruit Master wants to continue to be active in the area of exports and shops, thereby maximizing profit and expanding in the next few years. They have currently been assisted by PUM, a Netherlands agency, in finding a market.
To empower our farmers, mainly the women, by assuring them of a readily available market and prompt payment.

Market Situation
The Fruit Master want to be one of the preferred suppliers in fruit and vegetable space, With the growing concern on food safety and food security it is imperative to implement food traceability and food safety in every level of our operation i.e. Green label and Iso. Especially as we wish to add other lines to our export range.
Fruit Masters intends to provide mechanisation services and deploy field extension services and training to support the activities of these outgrowers to produce quality and GREENLABEL-certified vegetables and Fruit. The logic and intervention theory underlying this project aims at creating a path that will lead to a sustainable supply of vegetables to feed our Production and link produce to outgrower farms. To achieve this, we need to develop and build capacity of smallholder farmers to produce quality quality and ISO-GREEN LABEL certified vegetables and fruits, as out growers, to augment vegetable production through the provision of training, extension services, inputs, guaranteed market, mechanization services to enhance productivity of quality vegetable& fruit and increase income of smallholder farmers.
The project will improve the capacity in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes of smallholder vegetable farmers to use quality produce and best practices, improved crop management practices, and technologies to improve yield.
The wishes of the supermarkets are: delivering of excellent quality fruit & vegetables, consistency in delivering and delivering in time. When there is more quality and pre-packed product available, they are willing to buy this from the Fruit Master. The forecast of growth of the supermarket segment is app. 20% in the next one to two years, because of opening new stores in Accra, Tema and Kumasi.
